Our wild rice is completely pure. We don't add other, cheaper rice, what is common practice. Our wild rice is 100% wild rice. And you can taste that. Wild rice is long and dark brown. After cooking, the seeds break open to reveal their white core.
Rice without rice
Wild rice is not real rice, it's rather the seeds of a North American grass. This grass grows in calm, shallow water at the edges of swamps, up to 2 feet long.
Nutritious and gluten-free.
Since wild rice is not actually rice, people with rice allergies enjoy it. Wild rice is also naturally gluten-free. It is also highly nutritious and contains more protein than regular rice. Benefits only.
Use.
Wild rice goes well with poultry, game or shellfish. Also highly recommended in combination with pumpkin, pumpkin seeds or dried fruits.
Rinse the wild rice before using. Cook in 45 to 60 minutes until tender.
