Because of its versatility and nutritional value, tofu has been a staple of Asian cuisine for hundreds of years. And popular in Western vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

Tofu is made from soybeans, water and a coagulant. It is usually pressed into blocks or slices. Tofu is creamy, high in protein but contains hardly any carbohydrates. It is also high in calcium and iron.

Tofu is a culinary very rewarding ingredient because it absorbs plenty of the flavors of spices, sauces and marinades.

The fine smoke aroma makes this organic tofu something very special. The tofu is carefully smoked with natural smoke from beech wood and further refined with spicy soy sauce. The tofu is further flavored with carrots and parsley.

Our tofu is of organic quality, meaning from organic soybeans, carrots, parsley and other ingredients without GMOs and grown without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or the use of artificial fertilizers.

Keep unopened at room temperature

You can store our Tofu Nature at room temperature as long as the pack is not opened. After opening, you can keep it in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.

Use this tofu

Smoked tofu can be prepared and eaten in countless variations. The mild yet flavor-intensive smoke flavor transforms tofu into a delicious sandwich spread.

Toasted in small cubes or raw in potato salad, it can be used as a substitute for bacon. Organic tofu is also an ideal accompaniment to mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Of course, you can also use smoked tofu in Asian dishes.
