Natural peeled tiger nuts or chufas.
Tiger nuts or chufas are the root nodules of the ancient grass species Tubercyperus. Therefore, they are not true nuts. Tiger nuts have a sweet, nutty flavor reminiscent of almonds.
Organic and 100% raw
These chufas are organically grown and have been cultivated without the use of pesticides. After harvesting, the nuts are dried and shelled. So they are ready to be consumed. Our chufas are raw and naturally gluten-free. We do not add any artificial flavors or other additives.
How to use tiger nuts
Consume tiger nuts plain or mixed with other nuts. They are also delicious in cereals, granola, yogurt and salads. For a softer bite, you can soak them in water for a while. Or roast them in a pan for more crunch.
Tiger nuts are also used in carp fishing or as animal feed.
