    The germination process is started with purified water. They then continue to germinate for up to 24 hours in special germination chambers, under perfect temperature and humidity conditions.     You might also notice small, whit particles in the packaging. These are miniature pieces of the germ that have pierced the seed bark and broken off during packing, transport, etc.

    That's perfectly normal too, you don't have to rinse them away, you can just cook them with the seeds.
