Porcini are without a doubt the 'king of mushrooms', because of its very special aroma and firm mushroom meat. Porcini are one of the main ingredients of Italian cuisine.
Dried with care
Our porcini are air dried in special drying cabinets. Because of this method the taste, colour and smell (but also the texture) are preserved very well. Therefore you need relatively little to get a lot of flavour. In dried form these mushrooms are available in every season.
Organically grown Ceps
These mushrooms are organically grown according to European standards. So without chemical fertilizers, and without the use of pesticides and herbicides. Therefore we guarantee extra pure quality. It is 100% natural, without additives or preservatives.
Use dried organic porcini mushrooms
Soak the mushrooms in hot water for 60 minutes. Drain them in a sieve. Use the mushrooms just like fresh mushrooms.
Use porcini in all kinds of Italian dishes such as risotto, pizza, in omelets or frittata, potato tarts, with white fish and in many pasta dishes.
To give dishes an extra kick, you can also grind dried porcini into a fine powder and sprinkle it over cold and hot dishes just before serving.
