Light Japanese breadcrumbs
The Japenese use small flakes of bread as breadcrumbs. They call it panko. Since panko is rather coarse, it is lighter than traditional breadcrumbs and provides an extra crispy crust. Moreover, panko tastes sweeter than regular breadcrumbs.
Use
Use panko as a coat for crispy deep-fried snacks, on Japanese fish dishes or oven dishes with a layer of cheese. Coat shrimps, pieces of meat, fish or vegetables in some flour. Soak in battered egg. Sprinkle a bit of water over a plate with a thin layer of panko. Press the snack in the plate with panko to ensure all parts are evenly covered. Deep-fry the breadcrumbed snack in oil at 170°C-180°C.

Wheat flour, sugar (0,75%), salt, vegetable oil, yeast. Some of our natural products contain a small amount of vegetable oil (often less than 1%). We only use natural and unprocessed oils in our products.
