  • Fairly traded organic coffee Mexico, 60% intensity

Coffee connoisseurs know that for the best Mexican coffee beans, it's best to go a little lower elevation. These coffee beans are grown on several smaller organic plantations. We work with these local farmers on a fair trade basis.

    Coffee with a Gourmand character

This coffee has a light body and acidity. It is accompanied by a slightly smoky taste and hints of chocolate. The dry aftertaste is striking, a bit like you experience it with a quality dry white wine. A coffee that everyone enjoys.

At Pit&Pit, health always comes first, also with coffee.

When processing many coffees, too high a degree of roasting results in the formation of large amounts of acrylamides, a substance which can be formed when starchy products are burned. Acrylamides are extremely unhealthy and harmful. Even the lover of strong coffee doesn't want this. We therefore categorically exclude the very strongest roasts with a high risk of acrylamides.

By allowing the fresh and very high-quality coffee beans to be roasted at a lower temperature and for somewhat longer, the delicious flavours and aromas come into their own. The slower, moderate roasting method ensures a healthy, high-quality coffee and allows our coffee roaster to perform tight acrylamide monitoring at each roast.

An optimal espresso or great cup of coffee

You can make this coffee as a delicious espresso or ristretto, but also as a lungo it stands out. This organic coffee has a smooth taste and is very versatile.
