Lucuma has a delicious taste that has been preserved during processing. It is a popular sweetener for ice cream in South America. The taste of lucuma can be best compared with a combination of caramel, butter and maple syrup. It gives a pleasant touch to desserts, yoghurt and smoothies.
Use
Add 1 teaspoon of lucuma powder to water, juice, smoothies, yoghurt or desserts. Can also be used as a substitute for meal to make pastry.
