Our shelled hemp seeds are 100% pure, without additives. The shells of these seeds are mechanically removed. This way, they are better absorbed by the body and ready to use. Unlike unshelled hemp seeds, which often have to be soaked before use in dishes. Our hemp seeds come from organic farming. Hence, they do not contain herbicides or pesticides.

Optimal omega 3 and omega 6 ratio

Hemp seed provides an optimal omega 3 to omega 6 ratio. Other foods often contain too much omega 6. Hemp seeds contain nearly all the fatty acids that fuel our bodies. Including essential fatty acids, like linolic acid and alfa-linolenic acid (GLA), that cannot be naturally produced by the body.

Minerals, vitamins and proteins

Hemp seed contains a considerable number of minerals (a.o. iron, calcium, phosphor, magnesium, zinc and copper) and vitamins (a.o. vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, C and E). Furthermore, hemp seeds provide chlorophyl and fibres.

Hemp seeds have a nutty flavour and crunchy texture. Use them raw in salads, breakfast cereals, muesli or yoghurt. You can also lightly roast them for a crunchy addition to toast.
