To try to reduce our footprint, we offer our products in big quantities to minimize packaging waste. This product will come in a big bag.

Why do you use PET packaging?

Many of our products are in sturdy PET jars. We opted for this because research had shown that the greatest environmental cost was not the packaging, but damaged packaging. As a result, food is lost and we have to resend the lost products. By making our packaging more robust, we have succeeded in significantly reducing the amount of damages during transit.

 
Is PET better than glass packaging?

PET can be recycled very well. If we look at the various possible packaging in which food may be packaged, PET has the second smallest ecological footprint (just after glass with a deposit, but well ahead of glass without a deposit or for aluminum packaging). For a webstore, however, glass with a deposit is detrimental to the environment because glass is heavier than PET and the shipment and retrieval creates a higher ecological footprint.

 
Is PET a safe packaging for food?

Furthermore, the PET we use is very safe packaging for food without harmful substances such as BPA.

 
Can I return the PET jars?

Unfortunately, we cannot take back pots because we are not allowed to reuse them for hygienic reasons. But perhaps you or people in your area can use them as storage for toys, for screws or for other things... Please share with us how you are using them!
