Cold-pressed virgin coconut oil

Our virgin coconut oil is 100% pure and untreated. On the one hand, the oil still contains all the original nutrients of the fresh coconut and on the other hand, it does not contain a single additive. This virgin coconut oil is cold pressed.

Warm or cold?

Virgin coconut oil contains no trans fatty acids and only 2% polyunsaturated fatty acids. That's why it's ideal for baking (up to 180°C) and deep-frying (a maximum of 50 times). When heated, coconut oil tastes mild with delicate nuances of coconut. Cold, as on bread, the coconut flavour is stronger. Coconut oil is spreadable at room temperature.

Good for skin and hair

Coconut oil moisturises the skin and nourishes the hair. Either apply directly to the skin or dissolve in bath water. For stronger, shinier hair, leave the oil on dry hair for a few hours or overnight. After rinsing, wash your hair with shampoo. Also use the oil locally on the ends of your hair.

Virgin or deodorised coconut oil?

Virgin coconut oil and deodorised coconut oil are made from the same coconuts. The difference, however, is that deodorised oil has been treated with steam. This is how the coconut aroma naturally disappears. Both oils have the same nutritional value and identical uses. Apart from the typical taste and smell, all the advantages of virgin coconut oil are also present in the deodorised version.
