Catsclaw is a tropical climbing plant that winds its way up to 50 metres high around trees in the Amazon rainforest, from Brazil, to Paraguay, Chile and Peru. The inner bark has been used since ages for its medicinal power.
Only controlled harvest from Peru
Due to the popularity of Catsclaw, the Peruvian government strictly regulates the harvest of catsclaw in order to avoid environmental damage. The cultivation of our cat's claw therefore takes place only under very strict government control.
Use
Use 30 grams of cat's claw tea in 1 litre of water. Cook 10 to 15 minutes, then rest for 24 hours. Sieve the tea before using and take 3 cups a day.
Other applications such as compresses and tinctures are also possible.
