Our broken flaxseed is 100% pure, unprocessed and does not contain any additives. It is from organic farming and hence free from pesticides and herbicides.
Flaxseed for fibres and omega 3
Flaxseed naturally contains a lot of nutritional fibres, which promote a healthy transit. Besides fibres, flaxseeds contain a lot of omega 3, mainly alfa-linolic acid (ALA), making them a very useful vegetable source of omega 3-fatty acids for vegans. Our broken flaxseeds are better absorbed by the body than whole flaxseeds.
Use
Add flaxseeds to muesli, yoghurt, salads, bread,...Chew them or let them soak in a glass of water. When soaking flaxseeds in water, they form a jelly-like consistency you can use as a natural binding agent in pastry or pudding.
