When cooking stew at home, people are still too quick to reach for 'packet sauce', full of additives, glutamates and E numbers. And on top of that, it has a rather flat taste.
Our herb mix for stew contains pure herbs and surprising ingredients, such as pure cocoa, fine rooibos tea and mushrooms for a savoury umami accent. So you can make the most culinary version of this dish yourself.

In the end, there are no less than 13 ingredients in our stewing meat spice mix. A big taste bomb, but without any salt whatsoever.
A choice for 100% natural herbs without additives
We only use natural herbs and spices in our herb mix for stewing chops. No sugars are added, we do not use added flavourings, colourings, glutamates, preservatives, yeast extracts or other additives.
Totally suitable for veggie or vegan stews
If you replace meat with vegetable alternatives (vegan beef steaks, vegetarian chicken pieces, soy chunks, tofu...), you can use this spice mix in exactly the same way.
Use
Bring your sauce to life by adding this seasoning blend to meat gravies and marinades. Add 1-2 tablespoons per kilogram, or to taste. You can add salt to your dish as desired.
Tip: a generous spoonful of organic date syrup (syrup made from dates and apples without added sugar) works wonders in your stew.
