Our organic basmati rice from India is whole grain rice. These slender grains of rice have a remarkable aroma, sweet taste and soft texture. This brown basmati rice is pure and hasn't been mixed with other types of rice. We do not add any artificial aromas. You'll immediately notice the difference with other, often cheaper, counterfeit versions.

From the Himalayas

Our basmati rice is cultivated in the north of India, at the edge of the Himalaya mountains. There, in the best natural conditions, basmati rice can optimally develop its wonderful aroma.

Use

Use as a substitute for other types of rice. Goes extremely well with Asian dishes. Rinse before use. Cook one cup of rice in one and a half cup of water. Cook in 30 to 45 minutes. To shorten the cooking time, simply soak basmati rice for a night in cold water.
