Growing your own crazy-healthy sprouts Germinating seeds yourself easily, it's fun to do and mega-healthy. Sprouts are the sprouts of all kinds of seeds. With just water and heat, the seeds come to new life.

The beautiful shoots that appear are by far the most vital stage of any plant. It is no longer a seed, but neither is it a plant. Before the explosion of life, the sprouts still get their necessary nutrition entirely from the seed - not from soil - and that is converted for humans into valuable nutrients that are very easy to absorb and digest.

    Organic sprouting seeds

For the production of our certified organic sprouts we use only seeds of organic origin. So it without the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers and artificial additives, and without GMOs.

With almost all ready-to-use sprouts in the supermarket, additives are added to the growing water and then additionally treated with disinfecting powder. With our organic sprouting seeds, however, you grow the purest and freshest, crispiest sprouts and micro-greens possible.

Sprouting seeds arugula - spicy and nutty taste

With arugula seeds you grow spicy tasting sprouts, with a somewhat nutty taste. Ideal in a salad, with mushrooms, or on toasted bread with cheese.

Germ seeds arugula: suitable for the dish method

Broadly speaking, there are 2 methods of sprouting. Each seed type has its specific method.

Arugula sprouting seeds are grown at home with the dish method.

Ideally you do this in a mini greenhouse on hemp mats found at Pit&Pit, but it can also be done simply on a plate or tray with cotton wool. Here's the simple step-by-step plan:

1.Cover a dish or plate with a layer of cotton wool or use hemp mats, and wet them. Squeeze out most of the water, forming an even surface. Pour off the expressed water.

2.Spread arugula seeds over this. Prevent the seeds from lying on top of each other. This is because piles of seeds can form clumps. Press the seed lightly. Put the saucer away at room temperature. Provide plenty of daylight, but do not put the greenhouse or tray in full sun.

3.Make sure (but only after the seed has germinated) that the cotton wool stays moist, but not too wet, for 6 days.

4.After 6 days the arugula seed micro-greens are ready to use, cut the necessary part of germination as low as possible. At room temperature, you can store and consume the sprouts for several days.

Keep the jar with the sprouting seeds dry, sealed, and in the dark in the pantry.
