Traditional Japanese koikuchi soy sauce
This Japanese shoyu soy sauce by Kikkoman is a traditionally-brewed koikuchi soy sauce. Kikkoman is a Japanese company with more than 100 years of experience in brewing natural soy sauce. Shoyu koikuchi - or Japanese dark soy sauce - is the most commonly-known type of soy sauce worldwide. It is made with equal parts of fermented soy beans and wheat. We blend these with pure spring water and sea salt. We do not add artificial flavourers or other additives.
Cooking with shoyu koikuchi
Use koikuchi soy sauce in cold dishes or as a finishing touch on warm dishes. This way the taste of the shoyu is optimally preserved. Koikuchi soy sauce is also delicious on sushi, in dressings, on salads, rice dishes and other Japanese food.
