Make your own authentic guacamole without E numbers

Everyone knows guacamole, and hardly anyone can resist the delicious combination of avocados and spices. Consequently, supermarkets are full of "fresh" dip and packets of seasonings with just about every possible additive you can think of.

With our organic guacamole herb mix you can make real guacamole in no time. This way all the goodness of the avocados remains. This herb mix is formulated with respect for the authentic Latin American dish: so with coriander, tomato flakes, cumin seeds and chilis.

Add the spice mix and lime juice to the avocado and you're done.

All herbs and spices in this guacamole seasoning mix are from controlled organic farming. Grown therefore without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides.

100% natural with no additives and no salt

When creating our organic spice mixes, we also use no salt at all. Perfect within a low-salt diet. This allows you to add exactly as much salt as you want, according to taste and need.

How do you keep guacamole green?

Guacamole oxidizes and turns brown quickly. The lime juice helps a little to slow down this process, but inevitably it starts to brown quickly anyway. The sandwich-ape story that it helps to leave the pit of the avocado in the dip is best forgotten. Decorative it is, but it doesn't work. Neither does extra lemon juice.

The most common way to preserve guacamole is to put plastic wrap directly on the guacamole to prevent oxidation. That might work for a day. But plastic wrap, we don't actually want that, do we?

That's how to keep guacamole green:

Put your leftover guacamole in a storage container and press it down firmly with a spoon so it lies neatly flat in the container.

Put about half an inch of cold water on top. Put the lid on the storage container and put it in the refrigerator. Simple!

When you want to enjoy the guacamole, pour off the water, give it a stir and you're done. The dip stays perfectly fresh and delicious for 2-3 days. But say, who leaves such a delicious guacamole that long?

Use

Add seasoning to mashed avocados to taste.

Start from 1 teaspoon spice mix and juice of half a lime per avocado. Season to taste.

There is no salt in this mix. You can add salt to your liking. You can add pieces of fresh tomato to it as well.
