This is sprouted bread in its purest form. Also known as Essene bread or sprouted grain bread. Made from 100% sprouted, whole grain rye. No yeast. No flour. No added sugars or excipients. And no salt, either.

The result is hearty bread with a pure grain taste. Pre-packaged and fresh, ready to cut and taste.

Pure bread, rich in fiber and protein

The entire rye grain is sprouted and processed into bread, with the germ included. This gives a full feeling and a nice nutritional value. Germ bread is therefore an excellent source of fiber and protein.

Many people experience it as easily digestible. The bread does contain gluten (rye), so it is not suitable in celiac disease.

Minimalist ingredient list

This bread is for those who like to eat as naturally as possible. Minimally processed, with nothing but sprouted rye and water. In contrast to traditional bread that contains a lot more ingredients.

Tips for a tasty slice of sprouted bread

The texture is compact and firm. Just right for toasting for a while: the edges get crispy, the inside remains soft. Spread your slice generously. Think of a thick layer of cashew spread or mixed nut spread. Savory is also possible: avocado with sesame, or hummus with cumin and a touch of apple cider vinegar. A few slices is often enough.

Easy storage

Unopened it stays good for a long time (check the THT on the package). After opening, store it in the refrigerator for about three days. For longer? Freeze it, slice by slice. That way you always have a nutritious base on hand.
