    In Sarawak, at the edge of the rainforests on the island of Borneo, we found this robustly aromatic pepper. In contrast to most black peppers, which need shade, the bushes here stand in the full tropical sun. The harvest starts early in the season when the berries are picked one by one by hand and dried in the sun.

    Exuberant aroma

    This gives the black pepper its characteristic exuberant aroma, a complex fruity flavour with a hint of wood and liquorice. An absolute find in the palette of black peppers. Our sarawak peppercorns are of course 100% natural.

    Use Sarawak Pepper

    Sarawak chilli is not only an excellent seasoning for grilled meats, but also gives a boost to red fruit desserts and fresh vegetables in the wok.
