    Discover our delicious and healthy degreased cocoa powder. Our cocoa powder is made from organic cocoa beans of the species Forastero Hispanola. This cocoa powder contains only 10%-12% fat, about half of the normal amount. We do not add any sugar.

    The story of this defatted cocoa powder

    After harvesting the cocoa, the fruits are opened and the fresh beans are removed. During fermentation, the flesh decreases. The fermented cocoa beans are then dried, cleaned, first roasted, broken and cleaned again.

    The crushed cocoa beans are alkalineised, roasted, cooled and ground. The ground cocoa beans are then pressed until the fat content is at the desired level.

    Use

    Use this skimmed cocoa powder as a seasoning in pastries and biscuits, pudding, tiramisu, butter, whipped cream, etc. Also delicious in drinks and sauces.
