    Our pieces of young Sri Lankese jackfruit are certified organic and 100% natural. It is grown by a cooperative of small family growers in organic home gardens.

    It is washed, peeled, stoned and cut to keep in salted water with a dash of lime juice, without additives or other preservatives.

    Use as a meat substitute

    Jackfruit is most commonly used as a meat substitute.Jackfruit absorbs all flavours.

    1. Drain the jackfruit pieces and rinse them under running water, and chop them into small pieces.

    2. Marinate for approx. 30 minutes in barbecue sauce, oil, salsa or an Italian dressing.

    3. Briefly fry in the pan.

    Use jackfruit in smaller pieces and add them to pasta and rice sauces, chili dishes and soups.
