Making your own veggie burgers, without additives
Ready-made veggie burgers from refrigerated shelves often contain "yeast extracts" - that's a fancy name for added flavor enhancers.
You'll also often find thickeners, maltodextrin, lactose or egg powders in the ingredients. Moreover, like so many products, they are in an energy-dense cold chain.
So none of this is very nice, but fortunately there is an excellent alternative: in no time you can prepare your own vegetable burgers with our Pit&Pit dry burger mixes. Just add water, knead and fry for a few minutes.
Organic burger mix, 100% natural without additives
All ingredients in this mix are from certified organic agriculture. So guaranteed without the use of chemical sprays such as herbicides and pesticides, and without the use of fertilizers.
In addition, this product contains no additives, such as preservatives, flavor enhancers, yeast extracts, anti-caking agents or added sugars. This mix is also suitable for people with soy intolerance.
Rich , pure taste
The base of this organic plant-based burger is a combination of chickpeas and spelt. To this we add quite a palette of herbs, spices and flavorings, such as onion, garlic, chili, parsley, beet, cumin, coriander and cinnamon. This Pit&Pit mix for vegetable burgers contains very little fat, on the other hand, no less than 14% protein and 11% healthy dietary fiber.
Preparation
Pour the contents of the package into a bowl and add 230 ml of hot water. Mix thoroughly and let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.
Moisten your hands in cold water, then form burgers up to 1 cm thick by hand.
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for about 2 minutes on each side.
One package of 140 g, you make 4 burgers with that.
