Shower gel based on organic barley hydrolate
This shower gel has organic barley hydrolate as its base.
It contains no controversial raw materials. The sweet and delicious scent of lemon verbena is also 100% natural origin.
Suitable for all skin types
Our shower gel is suitable for all skin types and made for young and old. The texture is creamy, the foam rather delicate. Together with the fruity fragrance, it becomes a real moment of pleasure in the shower. The gel is rich in natural glycerin. It gently cleanses and moisturizes the skin. There are no sulfated surfactants involved - as is almost always the case with ordinary shower gels.
Local, artisan and sustainable
For our care products, we at Pit&Pit prefer to work with smaller, artisan producers in Belgium, the Netherlands and our immediate neighbors.
All raw materials in this shower gel are processed in France, in Alsace. With only ingredients that are good for your skin. Without palm oil or its derivatives. Biodegradable, it does not pollute the water.
The shower gel comes in 100% recycled and recyclable bottles, made in Europe. We got to know Fun!Ethic as a producer with an enthusiastic sustainable approach.
Fun!Ethic makes only vegan and alcohol-free products, and hold these certificates: Cosmébio - Cruelty free (PETA) - Ecocert - Cosmos organi.

There are 3 surfactants used based on sugar and coconut. Plant-based, in other words. And that is still exceptional.

Then there is regular plant-based glycerin, citric acid (to regulate pH balance) and 100% natural fragrance: 100% natural fragrance of lemon verbena

then there are 2 salt derivatives as preservatives : sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate. Sounds somewhat heady, but they are indeed natural substances accepted in organic certification.

Finally, you find the substances citral and limonene, which are the aromatic compounds naturally present in the lemon verbena anyway. So not really an ingredient but the producer is obliged to mention those substances. After all, some people are allergic to them.
A very neat product for your skin
In the end, 99.5% of the total ingredients are of natural and plant origin. That's very neat and sustainable for a shower gel.
And even better is what it just doesn't contain: no parabens, no sulfates, no dry alcohols, no silicones or any other controversial substance.
