    Our natural salt tile by Bisetti comes directly from Pakistani salt mines in the Himalaya mountains. The Italian brand Bisetti guarantees long-lasting kitchen accessories of optimal quality.     Versatile to use

    This slat tile is available in 2 sizes. You can use it in different ways. The tile holds temperatures for a long time. It is suitable to keep dishes cool or warm.

    Attractive presentation

    Present your dishes in an original and attractive way with this salt tile. For cold dishes, place the tile in the freezer for about 10 minutes. Ideal for sushi, carpaccio, pastry, fruit and cheeses. For hot dishes, heat the tile in the oven for about 20 minutes at 60°C. Ideal for meat, fish and warm vegetables.

    Preparing meals at the table

    Heat the salt tile for one hour in an oven at 250°C. At the table, use the hot tile to prepare simple dishes or small pieces of meat and fish.

    Cooking fish

    Place a fish filet of choice on the salt tile and let it cook in the oven at max. 150°C. Or use the tile to prepare fish on the barbecue.

    Cooking on gas fire

    Place the tile in an anti-stick pan or on a grid and let is warm up gradually on a gas fire. Cook meat, fish and vegetables on the hot stone without seasoning them beforehand.

    Precautions for use

    Heat slowly. Do not place frozen food on a hot tile. Let the tile cool before cleaning it. Clean with cold water. You can use sodium bicarbonate for scrubbbing the tile. Avoid excessive contact with water. Do not use chemical cleaning products on the salt tile. After a while, the colour of the tile may change. Cracks may form. This has no negative impact on the use of the salt tile. You can use it until it breaks or runs out.
