Our black psyllium seeds are pharmaceutical grade. They are tested for active ingredients so that we can guarantee optimal quality. This psyllium seed is 100% pure and free of additives.
Black psyllium seeds are naturally smaller than blond flax seeds.The effect is exactly the same. These black flaxseeds are equivalent to brown flaxseeds, but are sometimes preferred for their beautiful, shiny black color.
Use
Use a maximum of 2 tablespoons per day with 2 glasses of water, fruit juice, soup or other liquid. One teaspoon is often sufficient.
Use psyllium in bread, yogurt, cereal, and rice pudding.
Psyllium is also often used in sand cures for horses.
