Celery as a handy seasoning
Our celery leaf is 100% pure with no additives. It is harvested, chopped and dried at the time when freshness and flavor are at their best. It is a basic ingredient in your kitchen, and a convenient substitute for fresh celery. The flavor is reminiscent of anise and fennel, but milder and slightly bitter.
Usage
The flavor of our dried celery leaf is twice as strong as fresh celery leaf. You use half as much of it in your dishes.
To liquid dishes like soup or broth, just add the dried celery leaves. To other dishes add the leaves by soaking them first. Soak one part dried celery leaf in three parts water for five minutes, drain and add to your dish.
