The Supremo blend is dark roast, the beans have a deep-dark colour after roasting. This makes for an intense coffee. In the cup it comes out powerful as espresso and lungo, without unpleasant bitterness and with a deliciously strong aftertaste. The undertones are subtle and hint at dark chocolate.

When processing many coffees, too much roasting causes a lot of acrylamides to be formed, a substance that can be formed when starchy products are burned. Acrylamides are quite unhealthy and harmful. Even the lover of strong coffee doesn't want this. We therefore categorically exclude the very strongest roasts with a high risk of acrylamides.
By allowing the fresh and very high-quality coffee beans to be roasted at a lower temperature and for somewhat longer, the delicious flavours and aromas come into their own. The slower, moderate roasting method ensures a healthy, high-quality coffee and allows our coffee roaster to perform tight acrylamide monitoring at each roast.
