  • With Dulse algae
  • From the Norwegian Sea
  • Pure organic
  • Pure organic salt flakes from the Norwegian Sea

These Havsnø salt flakes come from the remote island of Gossa, in western Norway. The sea salt is traditionally extracted here by a small family farm.

The pure, cold water of the Norwegian Sea produces a particularly pure and quality sea salt, free of pollution. These salt flakes are therefore loved by top chefs around the world.

Snow from the sea with Dulse algae

Havsnø means snow of the sea. This name refers to the delicate, crunchy texture of the white Havsnø salt flakes. In your mouth, they melt like snow on your tongue. Havsnø sea salt has a soft, bright taste that deepens the other flavors in your dishes.

To this unique product we have added algae. For this we used Dulse algae from shallow, clean Atlantic waters in northern Norway. This type of alga is particularly rich in minerals and vitamin C and combines ideally with crunchy salt flakes.

    Usage

Use organic algae salt like herbal salt. Sprinkle Havsnø salt flakes with algae whole or crumbled over dishes just before serving. Or serve it in a bowl at the table: it is the ideal salt to sprinkle between thumb and fingers over salads, fish and seafood. Delicious also or potatoes. Vegetables and pasta dishes can also be flavored with algae salt.

For a true Scandinavian classic, sprinkle this salt over boiled new potatoes with butter or a good olive oil and nothing else.
